The Autoblot 2000 is a bench top instrument that automates the “Western Blot” process. In many laboratories, the Autoblot is used in confirmatory testing for AIDS, Hepatitis, ect.
DESIGN CRITERIA:
Project a refined corporate image.
Re-design using existing components.
One piece enclosure – to protect from fluid spills.
Part geometry was created in SolidWorks. First initial quantities were made with the silicone molding process, then switched to Pressure Forming.
